Activity Provider Member Usage Help
1. Viewing the booking payments made to you
Once logged in, from the Main Menu, click on the "Activity Bookings / Payments" area. Here, you will be able to view the active booking payments (ie, ones you have not seen and not "archived").
(a) Click on "View" on a booking payment to complete the following actions
- View the card details
- Save comments to look back on
- "Archive" the booking payment.
(b) Other elements that might interest you but I can remove if not wanted
- Booking Chart
By month, seeing what activities you have on and manually add them in.
- Edit Availability
By month, allowing you to make certain dates unavailable. Linked to the
booking chart / availability calendar, it can help the general public
find the dates they want.
- Monthly Summary
A simple monthly summary of booking payments made
More statistical analysis is avaiable on request
- Query
All booking payments can be found via this area
An example would be if a customer queries how much he/she has paid.
2. Set up areas / Once only tasks of Bookings4-u
Once logged in, from the Main Menu, click on the following.
(a) Edit Your Existing Business
As initially a once only task, please add / edit your business and add as much detail as you can.(b) Edit Your Booking Areas
By making it publicly available, you will be listed on :
- www.wales-tourist-information.co.uk
A yearly review is recommended.
Note: Bookings4-u caters for multiple businesses and multiple booking systems.
This is where you booking system is set up.(c) Edit Your Contact Details
A quarterly review is recommended.
- Business : Overall business options
- Activity : Individual set up for each activity
- Advanced Options : Individually to member requests (seasonal
adjustments / minimum bookings / special offers)
- Website Template & Links
As a once only task, please click on this area and fill your contact details in(d) Your File Manager
A yearly review is recommended.

3. Steps to test system
and explanation of "accepted" and "archived" status
of booking payments
Please use the following steps to test the system.
Any test information will be removed prior to the system being set live.
- Make a test booking payment from the link given to you
- Log in to : https://bookings4-u.co.uk/member/home.html
- At the main menu, if any "accepted" booking payments have come in, a summary in yellow background is displayed.
- Either click on the link in the yellow background or click on "Activity Bookings / Payments"
- You will now see a list of "accepted" booking payments waiting for your attention.
- Click on 'View' to view the details of the booking payment
- You now have three options:
7.1 Click on the 'View Card Details"
7.2 Add a comment and save (Maybe you want to keep the booking payment as is because the card details were not accepted).
7.3 Near the footer, click on "Click To Archive". This will "archive" the booking payment.
- Accepted : | A new booking payment has been accepted by the system from a customer and is awaiting your attention |
- Archived : | You have finished with the booking payment and have "archived" the details. |
